For many people, there is nothing more important than earning a college diploma. This is the reason why they try their best to finish their studies.
Although most people cannot afford to finish tertiary education because of financial difficulties, there are some who work hard in order to achieve their dreams.
One example is Roselyn L. Pacia. Roselyn. Her journey is truly inspirational. She focused hard on her goal to finish college.
Life has been rough for her as she had to find her own way to survive. She is the 5th among eight children from a broken family. She hails from Isabela, Negros Occidental.
She undertook different jobs in order to sustain her needs. She even worked as an underpaid farmhand. She eventually asked for the help of their town mayor for a scholarship.
Because she knew she would be needing more money to finance her education, she decided to go to Manila to seek employment. She ended up in Marikina and worked as housemaid.
Fortunately, she found an understanding and supportive boss who let her study while performing her duties. When she finally graduated from college, she looked back to where she started.
Her long journey has finally paid off.
