It's been two years since Chito Miranda and Neri Naig tied the knot. In December 2014, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman married the actress in a ceremony set in a garden in Tagaytay, a popular tourist destination.
In November 2016, the couple welcomed their first child, a son, who they named Alfonso (after his father).
Given that it has only been a few months since Neri gave birth, it's only natural that fans don't get to see the couple on television as frequently as before. It looks like Neri has had to put her acting career on hold for a while in order to focus on her new duties as a mother.
But just because her fans have gotten to see less of her on television, it doesn't mean they don't get to see her on the internet.
Ever since she got married, Neri has been very active on social media. She regularly posts photos and videos on her Instagram account to make sure that her fans are updated on the things that are going on in her life. Most of those updates involve her famous husband. Rather, most of those updates showcase her husband's tendency to be a bit "masungit" - a side of him that fans only got to know more about thanks to his wife's habit of documenting snippets of their life together.
Fans have noticed that Chito does not seem to like being photographed or filmed for social media updates very much - a fact that his wife seems to know pretty well.
But Neri looks like the type to make the most out of any situation. This attitude of hers can be seen in how she turns her husband's lack of enthusiasm for selfies into a source of amusement for her followers (and maybe for herself).
Recently a video of the couple filmed by Neri while they were going for a drive went viral on social media. It was originally posted by the actress on her Instagram account. It shows Neri's shaky attempt to sing along to a Celine Dion song, a feat that her husband did not seem to find entertaining at all.
Watch the video and make sure you listen to Chito's comments.
