Cabbage is popular for being a large,green, leafy vegetable with a bland taste. It is often use for nilaga and other stews. It is low calorie and also fiber rich which is good for your diet.
It also helps relieve ulcers, headaches,obesity and many more.
What we don’t know is that it has some benefits when applied to the body, especially for breastfeeding women. It is believed that cabbages help relieve discomfort and swelling. How? Here the steps:
Put a head of cabbage in a fridge for one or two hours. Pull off outer leaves and pull off two inner leaves.
Wash the leaves in cold water then cut the stem and place the leaves on breasts without covering the nipples.
Leave for 20 minutes.
Repeat until you see improvement.
