Moving networks from ABS CBN to GMA 7, former Kapamilya young star Mika dela Cruz explained the reason behind her decision.
So why did Mika move?
"And siyempre, andun yung ate ko."
However, she denied that her sister Angelika Dela Cruz was the one who convinced her to move.
The new Kapuso actress is now co-managed by the GMA Artist Center and PPL Entertainment Inc. of Perry Lansigan, with a 3-year contract under the new network.
The young actress also explains that her decision to switch networks did not mean she was burning bridges with the old network.
"Sobrang okay po, nagpaalam po ako. Ni-release po ako nang maayos... Siyempre ayoko namang mag-burn ng bridges. Pero nagpaalam ako nang maayos kay Ms. Mariole [Alberto], kay Mr. M [Johnny Manahan]... Dinalaw ko sila, nagpaalam ako nang maayos," she explained.
"And actually, nung nagpaalam ako, alam na nila. And then, anytime na gusto kong bumalik, always welcome naman sila. So, wala pong naging problema, wala kaming problema."
Mika now has an upcoming project with GMA's Tween Queen Barbie Forteza entitled "Meant To Be" where she'll play the kontrabida.
