After Andi Eigenman's win as the Best Actress at the 64th FAMAS Awards held at the Century Park Hotel last December 4 on Sunday, mother Jacklyn Jose expressed her disappointment with ABS CBN.
According to Jacklyn, ABS CBN failed to recognize Andi's achievement.
Jacklyn, who was recently honored at Cannes last May, voiced out her dismay against her daughter's network at the comment section of Andi's post.
Jaclyn wrote, "Andi, I was so disappointed with your network na hindi man lang linabas sa news ang pagkapanalo mo.
Nevertheless, you are a winner in my heart. In Ellie's heart. You have your trophy. I hope your network will recognize your win. I love you most."
Fortunately, Andi's win was featured at "Tonight with Boy Abunda" moments later.
Andi won as the best actress of FAMAS after her role at Angela Markado, a remake of a 1980 film starred by Hilda Koronel which tackles the story of a woman who takes revenge against her rapists.
She also added that her win was a tribute to all women, saying "sa lahat ng kababaihan, lalo na sa mga nakaranas ng kahit anong klase ng pang-aabuso."
