Chef James Dino shared his inspiring story of determination and success with ABS-CBN News.
According to the 24-year-old international chef, his dreams of becoming a chief cook started when “Tuloy Foundation” adopted him and his elder brother after they lost their parents.
Fr. Marciano “Rocky” Evangelista, President and Founder of Tuloy Foundation, shared that at a young age, Dino already had the passion and talent in cooking.
It paved way for his inclusion as one of the scholars of Alain Ducasse Institute in Enduran Colleges.
Alain Ducasse is known to be one of the best chefs in the world.
Because of his excellence in cooking, Dino was given a 2-3 month scholarship where he underwent intensive training for three months. He is now an intern in one of the most famous hotels in Dubai.
In addition, he was also awarded the “Employee of the Month”.
Dino considers his family as his inspiration.
“Pag may mga dumating na opportunities, kahit mahirap pag andon ka na, parang iisipin mo na lang kung saan ka nanggaling. Keep moving. Keep trying” Dino shared.
Meanwhile, his contract will expire soon and he is excited to work with Alain Ducasse in France.CLICK PAGE 2 TO WATCH THE VIDEO
