The country celebrated the victory of Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao as he dominated over Jessie Vargas yesterday, November 6, 2016. Many politicians came to the fight to personally watch the People's champ. However, it was later revealed that it was Pacquiao who bought about two thousand tickets amounting to a million dollars, to bring his friends from the government himself.

"It's an honor na lahat sila, naka-suporta sa akin. Si Bato, Aguirre , at marami pang iba. 'Yung mga kasama na congressmen, si Toby Tiangco, Senator Villanueva. Maraming kaibigan na pumunta dito," he said.

PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa was seen in the camera several times as he accompanied Pacquiao inside the ring.

"Libre ito ni Manny. Lahat sila, galing ito sa senator. Baka sabihin nila, government funds. Hindi naman ako ganoon kayaman," he said.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao still committed to attend the Senate's budget session which is set to happen despite the recently concluded fight. Dela Rosa and Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre also rushed back to work after the fight as the investigation of Albuera, Leyte Mayor, Ronaldo Espinosa, is still ongoing.
