World-famous theater singer Lea Salonga ranted on Twitter over a couple in the audience whom she found "inconsiderate, rude, and disrespectful" during a theatrical performance.
In her performance in the Manila run of "Fun Home" last weekend, the couple was incessantly using their phones, according to the theater legend.
In a series of tweets, Lea directed a tirade against the couple.
"So there was a couple on their phones during tonight's performance of #FunHomeMNL. I guess they couldn't be off their phones for 100 mins," she posted.
"Before every performance, there's an announcement asking patrons to turn off phones and other devices that may interfere with the sound system."
"Inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful. Why even go to the theater at all?"
The singer's sentiments were seconded by other Miss Saigon veterans namely Jon Jon Briones and Eva Noblezada.
"That sucks! Ushers should be on the lookout for this...with a tirador," Jon Jon replied.
"so sad and frustrating isn't it?!" commented.
