Eat Bulaga’s Bossing Vic Sotto finally spoke about the exclusion of his movie“Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers” in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
This is the first time an Enteng movie will not be screened as part of MMFF since 2003. Most people in the film industry and moviegoers were shocked with the screening committee’s entries for the film fest this year, as mostly independent films were chosen.
Aside from “Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers”, Vice Ganda and Coco Martin’s “The Super Parental Guidance” from Star Cinema and “Mano Po 7: Chinoy” of Regal Films were not able to make it to the list of movies in the MMFF. Because of this, these films will be shown earlier than the usual date of the festival.
Enteng Kabisote and Super Parental Guidance will be released in cinemas starting November 30 while Mano Po 7 will be on December 14.
During the press conference of Enteng kabisote 10 and the Abangers last Thursday, November 24, Sotto stated his mixed reactions regarding this exclusion of his movie as MMFF entry.
